Two Natural Mother-of-Pearl Dial Expressions

This WDC0001 MOP listing is available in two guilloché mother-of-pearl dial options: Forest Black MOP and Forest White MOP. Both current variants use the Miyota 9015 date movement.

Forest Black Guilloché Mother-of-Pearl

Natural mother-of-pearl. Precision CNC carved. Approximately 2 hours per dial.

Natural dark mother-of-pearl is precision carved with an intricate guilloché pattern.

Each dial requires approximately two hours of CNC machining.

Mother-of-pearl is extremely thin, brittle and naturally layered. The machining process must preserve both the sharpness of the guilloché pattern and the natural iridescence of the material without cracking or delamination.

The result combines precision machining with the unique character of natural mother-of-pearl.

Forest White Guilloché Mother-of-Pearl

Precision guilloché carving with a brighter natural character.

Natural white mother-of-pearl undergoes the same precision CNC carving process.

Its lighter surface reveals subtle changes in texture, depth and color as the viewing angle and lighting change.

Because mother-of-pearl is a natural material, each finished dial has its own individual character.

0.03mm Precision Bracelet

Developed for Nearly a Year

The bracelet is one of the defining components of WDC0001.

Its development took close to a year, with particular attention paid to machining tolerances, articulation, edge finishing and mechanical fit.

Every bracelet link is individually CNC machined, with links, screws and key connecting components produced to approximately 0.03mm tolerance targets.

The goal is not simply to make the bracelet tighter.

The goal is:

Very low lateral play. Precise mechanical fit. Smooth articulation.

Refined Case Finishing - Precision in Every Transition

WDC0001 combines fine brushing with precisely executed polished chamfers.

Particular attention is given to:

• Chamfer symmetry

• Consistent polished edges

• Uniform fine brushing

• Clean transitions between brushed and polished surfaces

• Precise case-to-bracelet integration

The goal is not unnecessary decoration, but cleaner geometry, sharper definition and more consistent execution.

Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9

The hands use Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9, producing a clean blue glow in darkness.

Rather than using a full-lume construction, the hands retain their defined metal borders.

This maintains stronger visual definition and a more refined appearance in daylight while providing clear nighttime legibility.

Miyota 9015 Automatic Movement

Slim. High-Beat. Proven.

Both current Forest MOP variants in this listing use the Miyota 9015 date movement.

The Miyota 9015 is a 4Hz / 28,800 VPH automatic mechanical movement, selected for its slim construction, mature architecture and broad service familiarity.

The slim movement architecture also helps WDC0001 achieve an overall thickness of approximately 10.2mm, including the sapphire crystal.

Regulation & Final QC - Factory Specification Is Only the Starting Point

Movement factory specifications are only the beginning.

After casing, each WDC0001 goes through our final inspection and testing process, including:

• Multi-position timing testing

• Rate, amplitude and beat-error checks

• Regulation when required

• Re-testing after adjustment

• Water-resistance testing

• Hand alignment and clearance inspection

• Internal dust inspection

• Case and bracelet finishing inspection

• Bracelet and clasp function checks

• Final exterior QC

We want WDC0001 quality control to be something customers can see through our actual production and testing videos, rather than simply describing it as "strict QC."

Dedicated FKM Rubber Strap-Coming Soon

A dedicated FKM rubber strap is currently under development for both:

WDC0001 / WD0016

It will provide a lighter, sportier and more casual alternative to the stainless-steel bracelet while maintaining a properly integrated fit with the case.
