Shipping, Delivery, Duties & Taxes

Last updated: July 2026

Watchdives ships watches and accessories to most countries and regions worldwide. This policy explains order processing, shipping methods, estimated delivery times, duties and taxes, customs clearance, tracking, and how we handle delays, loss, transit damage, and delivery issues.

Important: Available shipping methods, fees, delivery estimates, and tax status vary by destination, order value, product type, and fulfillment location. The shipping method and tax status selected at checkout and recorded on the order at the time of purchase take priority for that order.

Shipping at a Glance

Order processing: Most in-stock orders are normally processed and transferred to the shipping provider within 1–3 business days.

Tax-included postal shipping: Usually 7–15 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt; peak periods, customs delays, or remote delivery may extend this to 15–25 business days.

Express shipping: Usually 4–6 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt, excluding customs-clearance time.

Local warehouse shipping: Usually 2–7 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt.

Duties and taxes: Duty-paid or tax-included shipping may be available at checkout for selected destinations and qualifying orders.

Tracking support: Contact us when an express parcel is past its estimated delivery date, or when postal tracking has not updated for more than 10 days.

These timeframes are general estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Processing time and transit time are calculated separately. Unless stated otherwise, “business days” means the normal operating days of the relevant warehouse or carrier and excludes applicable public holidays.

1. Where Does Watchdives Ship?

Watchdives ships to most countries and regions worldwide. After you enter a complete delivery address, checkout will display the shipping methods, fees, and tax status currently available for your order.

If no shipping option appears after you enter a complete address, please contact us before placing your order. Checkout provides the most current shipping availability for your address.

Shipping may be unavailable or limited for:

Remote areas, islands, and overseas territories;

PO boxes, APO, FPO, and military addresses;

Destinations temporarily unsupported by available carriers;

Destinations affected by customs, regulatory, carrier, or regional restrictions;

Orders subject to value, product, weight, size, or transportation-safety restrictions.

Some postal services can deliver to PO boxes, while FedEx, DHL, UPS, and other express couriers generally cannot. Please use an address supported by the shipping method shown at checkout.

2. How Long Does Order Processing Take?

Most in-stock orders are normally processed and transferred to the shipping provider within 1–3 business days after payment, excluding public holidays.

Order processing may include:

Payment and risk review;

Product preparation;

Pre-shipment quality inspection;

Packing;

Transfer to the shipping provider.

Processing time is separate from transit time. New-product launches, promotions, public holidays, and unusually high order volumes may extend processing time.

Requests for pre-shipment photographs, additional accuracy or alignment checks, strap or clasp changes, order modifications, or other special handling may extend processing time.

If a product does not pass our final quality inspection, we may need to prepare another item. We will contact you through the order email if a significant delay is expected.

3. How Are Pre-Orders, Back-Orders, and Unexpected Stock Shortages Handled?

The estimated shipping date for a pre-order or back-order product is normally shown on the relevant product page. It is an estimated shipping date, not a guaranteed delivery date.

Production or dispatch timing may change because of:

Component or material availability;

Production, assembly, or testing progress;

Quality-control requirements;

Shipping or customs conditions;

Other circumstances outside reasonable control.

If an item becomes temporarily unavailable after you order because of inventory synchronization, the last unit failing final inspection, a stock discrepancy, or another unexpected issue, we will contact you through the order email and provide a new estimated shipping date. You may choose to:

Continue waiting;

Change to another available product and pay or receive any applicable price difference; or

Cancel the affected unshipped item for a refund.

If we expect that we cannot ship within the timeframe originally stated on the product page, we will notify you and provide a revised estimate. You may consent to the delay or cancel the affected unshipped item for a refund.

Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items may be held until all items are ready or shipped separately, depending on stock and warehouse arrangements. Express shipping only shortens transit time after the item is handed to the carrier; it does not shorten production, restocking, pre-order, or quality-control time.

4. What Shipping Methods Are Available?

4.1 Tax-Included or Duty-Paid Postal Shipping

Estimated delivery: usually 7–15 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt. Peak periods, customs delays, or remote delivery may extend this to 15–25 business days.

This option may be available at checkout for selected destinations and qualifying orders. After arrival in the destination country, the parcel is normally transferred to a local postal or delivery provider.

The parcel may be delivered to:

A mailbox;

The delivery address or a safe location;

A reception desk or mailroom;

A local post office;

A nearby collection point.

A signature is not guaranteed unless the checkout description specifically states otherwise.

4.2 Express Shipping

Estimated delivery: usually 4–6 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt, excluding customs-clearance time.

Express orders may be shipped by FedEx, DHL, UPS, or another suitable courier. Express shipping is normally faster, but the recipient may need to cooperate with customs clearance.

Unless checkout specifically states that duties and taxes are included, FedEx, DHL, UPS, and other express services are generally not duty-paid.

The transit estimate does not include delays caused by:

Customs clearance;

Requests for additional documents;

Payment of duties or taxes;

Verification of the recipient’s identity, tax number, or other clearance information.

4.3 Local Warehouse Shipping

Estimated delivery: usually 2–7 business days after the carrier first confirms receipt.

Selected products may ship from a warehouse in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, or another local location. The actual warehouse, delivery territory, and stock status are shown on the product page and at checkout.

Orders delivered within the applicable local customs area normally do not incur additional import duties. Items stored in different warehouses may be shipped in separate parcels.

5. How Are Shipping Fees Calculated?

Shipping fees depend on:

Destination;

Order value;

Package weight and dimensions;

Selected shipping method;

Fulfillment location;

Remote-area or carrier surcharges.

The final shipping fee is displayed at checkout before payment. Free or discounted shipping may be offered for eligible orders, destinations, or promotions.

If a carrier identifies a remote-area or exceptional surcharge that was not shown at checkout, we will contact you before dispatch. Watchdives will not automatically charge an additional shipping fee that was not displayed at checkout without your express agreement.

You may choose to:

Pay the additional fee;

Provide another eligible delivery address; or

Cancel the affected unshipped item for a refund.

6. Are Duties and Taxes Included in the Product Price?

Product prices shown on Watchdives do not automatically include import duties, customs charges, VAT, GST, clearance fees, brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges.

However, duty-paid or tax-included shipping may be available at checkout for selected destinations and qualifying orders. Please review the name and description of the selected shipping method before payment.

6.1 Duties and Taxes Included

A shipping option may be tax-included when it is marked with wording such as:

Duties & Taxes Included;

Tax-Included Shipping;

Duty-Paid Shipping;

VAT/Taxes Included.

This normally means that the import duties and taxes expressly covered by that shipping service are handled through the service, and you should not normally be asked to pay the same import charges again upon delivery.

Tax-included shipping covers only the import duties and taxes expressly included in the shipping description. It does not cover charges caused by incorrect customer information, failure to complete clearance promptly, address changes, storage, refusal, or other abnormal delivery circumstances.

If a carrier requests an import payment for an order shipped through a tax-included method, please contact Watchdives before paying or refusing the parcel whenever reasonably possible. We will help verify the selected method and the reason for the charge.

6.2 Duties and Taxes Not Included

If the selected shipping method does not expressly state that duties and taxes are included, the recipient may be responsible for import duties, VAT, GST, customs-clearance fees, brokerage fees, and other local charges.

These charges are determined by the destination country, customs authority, or carrier and are not collected or controlled by Watchdives.

Unless checkout states otherwise, FedEx, DHL, UPS, and other express services are generally not tax-included.

6.3 Which Tax Information Takes Priority?

If shipping or tax information differs between pages, the following order of priority applies:

The shipping method and tax description selected at checkout and recorded on the order at the time of purchase;

Any product-specific shipping information displayed on the product page at the time of purchase;

The general information in this Shipping, Delivery, Duties & Taxes policy.

The shipping method and tax status selected at checkout when the order is placed apply to that order.

7. What Information May Be Required for Customs Clearance?

Depending on the destination and shipping method, customs or the carrier may request:

A valid telephone number;

A valid email address;

A tax or personal identification number;

Proof of identity;

Proof of payment;

A product description or intended use;

Other documents requested by customs or the carrier.

Customers must provide accurate and complete order information and respond promptly to legitimate customs or carrier requests.

Watchdives will provide reasonable assistance with available order, invoice, and shipping documents. Customs decisions and clearance times are controlled by local authorities and carriers and are outside our direct control.

Customs declarations and shipping documents will be prepared in accordance with applicable law and carrier requirements. Watchdives cannot carry out inaccurate, false, or unlawful declaration requests.

8. Can I Change My Shipping Address?

Please check the recipient name, street address, city, state or province, postal code, country, and telephone number carefully before placing the order.

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the address.

We will try to update the information if the order has not entered warehouse or carrier processing, but changes cannot be guaranteed after:

Packing has started;

The parcel has been transferred to the logistics warehouse;

The carrier has scanned or collected the parcel;

The parcel has entered transit.

Creating a tracking number does not always mean that the parcel has physically left the warehouse. Our team will check the actual fulfillment status when reviewing an address-change or cancellation request.

If the parcel cannot be intercepted, you may need to receive it and then use the applicable return process.

9. Will All Items in My Order Arrive Together?

An order may be split when:

Items are stored in different warehouses;

Some items are pre-orders or back-orders;

Items become available at different times;

Separate shipments provide a safer or faster delivery method.

Each parcel normally has its own shipping confirmation and tracking number. A partial delivery does not necessarily mean that an item is missing. Please check all shipping emails and tracking numbers before contacting support.

If Watchdives chooses to split an order because of inventory, warehouse, or delivery arrangements, you will not be charged additional shipping fees unless we disclosed the charge and obtained your agreement before dispatch.

10. How Can I Track My Order?

After dispatch, Watchdives sends a shipping-confirmation email containing the available tracking information. You may also view tracking details in your Watchdives account.

Tracking may take several business days to update, especially while a parcel is:

Waiting for the first carrier scan;

Moving between international logistics partners;

Awaiting export or import processing;

Being transferred to a local delivery provider.

A temporary lack of updates does not necessarily mean that the parcel is lost. Please contact us with your order number and tracking number if an express parcel is past the estimated delivery date shown at checkout, or if postal tracking has not updated for more than 10 days.

Ten days without an update is a recommended enquiry point for postal shipments; it does not mean that the parcel has been confirmed lost. Carrier and shipping-protection investigation requirements may vary.

11. What Happens if My Package Is Delayed?

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Delays may be caused by:

Customs clearance;

Severe weather or flight cancellations;

Public holidays or peak shopping periods;

Remote-area delivery;

Local postal or courier disruption;

Security or regulatory inspections;

Incorrect or incomplete recipient information.

If your parcel is beyond the normal estimate, contact Watchdives. We will review the tracking and, where appropriate, open an enquiry with the carrier.

A delayed parcel is not automatically considered lost, and the carrier may need time to complete an investigation. Although delivery estimates are not guaranteed, Watchdives will follow up on shipments that are materially beyond the normal timeframe and provide an appropriate solution based on the carrier’s findings, the order circumstances, and applicable law.

12. Who Bears the Risk Before Delivery?

For shipping methods offered and arranged by Watchdives, and subject to applicable law, the risk of loss or damage in transit remains with Watchdives until the parcel is received by you or by a third party you designated to receive it. If a problem occurs, we will provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution based on the carrier’s investigation, the order circumstances, and applicable law.

If you independently appoint a carrier that Watchdives did not offer, risk may transfer when the goods are handed to that carrier. Delivery to a freight forwarder, hotel, company reception, shared address, or another third-party address selected by you normally constitutes delivery to your designated recipient.

13. What Happens if a Package Is Lost in Transit?

If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost in transit, Watchdives will help open an investigation with the carrier and, where applicable, may use a third-party shipping-protection service.

If the parcel is confirmed lost, or cannot reasonably be delivered or recovered within the investigation period, we will provide a reshipment, refund, or another appropriate solution.

The process may depend on the carrier’s findings, product availability, shipping method, order circumstances, and applicable law. A third-party protection service may assist or accelerate an eligible claim, but it does not reduce Watchdives’ obligations under the order contract or applicable law.

14. What Should I Do if a Package Is Damaged, Incorrect, or Incomplete?

Please contact Watchdives promptly if:

The outer package is seriously damaged;

The parcel appears opened or tampered with;

A product was damaged in transit;

An ordered product, accessory, or gift is missing;

You received the wrong product, model, color, or version.

Where possible, report the issue within 48 hours after you actually receive the parcel so that evidence can be preserved and the warehouse or carrier can be contacted promptly. If the tracking record and actual receipt time clearly differ, please contact us so that we can verify the timing.

Reporting after 48 hours does not automatically remove any mandatory consumer rights, but a delay may affect the carrier’s ability to investigate transit damage.

Please retain and provide, where available:

The outer package and shipping label;

Internal packaging;

All products and accessories received;

Clear photographs or a short video showing the issue.

An unboxing video can help accelerate an investigation, but it is not the only evidence accepted. We may also review package weight, warehouse records, tracking information, packaging condition, and other available evidence.

15. What if Tracking Says Delivered but I Cannot Find the Package?

Please first check:

Your mailbox, entrance, and other safe locations;

Building reception, mailroom, or front desk;

Household members or neighbours;

Property management;

The local post office or collection point;

Any carrier delivery photo or notice.

Some carriers may scan a parcel as delivered shortly before physical delivery. If the carrier indicates an early scan, we may ask you to allow up to two business days.

If the parcel is still missing, contact Watchdives promptly. We will review the delivery record and, where appropriate, assist with a carrier or shipping-protection investigation.

After the investigation, the following principles generally apply:

The carrier confirms delivery to the wrong address: the parcel is handled as lost in transit;

The carrier cannot provide reliable proof of delivery and you complete the reasonable checks requested: we will provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate solution based on the circumstances;

The carrier provides reliable evidence of delivery to the order address: the parcel is not automatically treated as lost in transit, but we will assist you in contacting the carrier, property management, or an applicable protection service;

The parcel was misdelivered because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address: the resulting loss is normally the customer’s responsibility, except where applicable law provides otherwise;

A household member, receptionist, neighbour, property manager, or another recipient designated by you accepted the parcel: delivery is normally considered complete.

16. What Happens if Delivery Is Refused, Unclaimed, or Unsuccessful?

A parcel may be returned, held, or disposed of if:

The customer provides an incorrect or incomplete address;

The customer refuses delivery;

Required customs clearance is not completed;

Applicable duties or taxes on a non-duty-paid shipment are not paid;

The parcel is not collected from a pickup point in time;

The carrier cannot contact the recipient.

If the parcel is returned to Watchdives, a refund is normally processed after the parcel is received and inspected.

Where permitted by law, actual costs caused by the unsuccessful delivery may be deducted, including the original shipping cost, return shipping cost, customs or clearance charges, and carrier surcharges. We will explain any deduction using available carrier or cost records.

If the parcel cannot be returned and is lawfully disposed of by the carrier because the customer refused delivery, failed to complete clearance, failed to pay charges due on a non-duty-paid shipment, or did not collect the parcel, refund eligibility and amount will depend on the parcel status, actual loss, and applicable law.

If an order shipped through a tax-included method is unexpectedly assessed import charges, please contact Watchdives before refusing the parcel whenever reasonably possible.

17. What if I Use a Freight Forwarder or Third-Party Address?

You may choose to ship an order to a freight forwarder, forwarding warehouse, hotel, company reception, shared address, or another third-party recipient.

Once the carrier confirms delivery to the address entered in the order, Watchdives has normally completed delivery to that designated address.

Watchdives is not normally responsible for loss, damage, missing contents, delays, or later customs charges arising after delivery during forwarding, repacking, consolidation, or onward shipment by the third party.

We will provide available original order and tracking information to assist with a reasonable enquiry.

18. What Is Seel Shipping Protection?

Eligible orders may be offered optional Seel shipping protection at checkout. Seel is a third-party service that may cover eligible events such as loss in transit, transit damage, missing or tampered contents, and covered theft after delivery.

Availability, price, and coverage are determined by the checkout information and Seel terms shown when the order is placed.

Seel protection is optional and does not replace Watchdives’ responsibility to send the correct product, handle product-quality claims, provide applicable warranty and repair service, assist with order and delivery issues, or comply with applicable law.

Watchdives will help you understand whether an issue should be handled through Watchdives, the carrier, or Seel. A customer cannot receive duplicate refunds, replacements, chargeback compensation, or third-party protection payments for the same loss.

20. Statutory Consumer Rights

This policy explains the shipping, tax, and delivery support provided by Watchdives. Customers in some countries or regions may have additional rights concerning delivery, replacement, refunds, or consumer protection.

This policy does not exclude, restrict, or replace any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded by contract.

If any part of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law in the customer’s location, the applicable law takes priority and the remaining non-conflicting provisions continue to apply.
