VS75 solar chronographs

Several current Tactical Frog chronographs use the Japan VS75 / VS75B solar quartz family. The 41mm VS75 Solar Chronograph lists a 41mm steel case, 49mm lug-to-lug length, 12.5mm thickness, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel and stated 200m water resistance.

The larger VS75 Solar GS Chronograph lists a 43mm steel case, 50mm lug-to-lug length and 13.9mm thickness. Both are solar quartz chronographs rather than mechanical chronographs. For charging, power storage and timing functions, read our VS75 movement guide.

Titanium FX-Diving V4

The Tactical Frog FX-Diving V4 uses a Hangzhou 2565 automatic movement in a 42mm titanium case with sapphire crystal, a bidirectional titanium bezel with ceramic insert and stated 200m water resistance. Its fixed strap bars make strap compatibility different from a conventional spring-bar watch.

Sub 300T V2/V3 automatic diver

The Tactical Frog Sub 300T V2/V3 uses a Hangzhou 2565 automatic movement with a 44 × 43mm surgical-grade stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal, a 120-click unidirectional outer bezel and stated 200m water resistance.

Solar quartz or automatic?

Choose the VS75 models if you want solar charging and quartz regulation with chronograph functionality. Choose the FX-Diving V4 or Sub 300T if you prefer a mechanically powered automatic movement. Movement type does not determine case material, bezel design or water resistance, so compare the complete watch specification.

Fit and sizing

Do not compare diameter alone. The 41mm VS75 Solar Chronograph lists 49mm lug-to-lug, while the 43mm GS version lists 50mm. The FX-Diving V4 uses a different titanium case architecture and fixed strap bars. Check lug-to-lug length, thickness and strap attachment details on the individual product page.
