Slim Quartz Watches Under $200: WD0013 vs WD0013B

For a slim quartz watch under $200, compare the Watchdives WD0013 at $149 with the WD0013B at $185. The WD0013 has a listed 7.7mm profile and a two-hand Ronda 714 display without a seconds hand. The WD0013B adds a central seconds hand and the ETA F06.412 high-accuracy quartz movement, with a listed 8.2mm thickness including the crystal.

Both have integrated-bracelet styling, sapphire crystal and the same listed 41 × 42.5mm case dimensions. The separate 37mm figure is the bezel diameter. Choose between them by display, movement and wrist fit rather than treating either as a round 37mm watch.

Prices, specifications and available variants were checked on October 23, 2026. These are listed USD watch prices before shipping, taxes, duties or checkout-specific promotions. This is Watchdives' own product comparison, not a ranking of every slim quartz watch on the market.

The thickness figures follow each listing's wording. They are not independent measurements on a common basis, so the table does not establish an exact 0.5mm difference in total height. Photos below are official product photographs and are not presented at a common scale.

WD0013: Choose a Calm Two-Hand Display

WD0013, Matte White. Official photograph of the listed product.

The WD0013 is the lower-priced choice at $149. Its Ronda 714 movement leaves out the seconds hand, giving the dial a quieter appearance. It suits someone who values a clean display and a low-profile steel sports-dress design more than watching a moving seconds hand.

The current listing specifies brushed 316L stainless steel, sapphire with three-layer AR coating, a screw-down crown and caseback, BGW9 lume and 80m stated water resistance. Available $149 options at the check were Sunray Navy Blue, Matte White, Sunray Slate Blue, Sunray Black/Gray and Matte Turquoise.

Choose it if: you prefer the two-hand presentation and want to keep the watch price around $150. A slim profile does not make its broad case and integrated bracelet identical in fit to a small round dress watch.

WD0013B: Add Central Seconds and ETA High-Accuracy Quartz

Watchdives WD0013B Matte White with a central seconds hand and integrated-style steel bracelet
WD0013B, Matte White. Compare the actual dial and bracelet shown for your selected option.

The WD0013B costs $185 in the available configurations checked. Its main distinction is the Swiss ETA F06.412 HAQ movement and central seconds hand, rather than a different case size. The product lists an 8.2mm total thickness including the crystal.

ETA identifies PreciDrive, HeavyDrive and an end-of-life indication for the F06.412. Those are movement features; they do not establish a separate chronometer certificate for the finished Watchdives watch. The watch listing quotes around five years of battery life, which is an estimate rather than a guaranteed replacement interval.

Matte Turquoise, Sunray Slate Blue and Matte White were available at $185. Other color names may remain on the product page without being currently purchasable, so confirm the exact selection.

Choose it if: you want to see a central seconds hand and value the ETA movement enough to spend $36 more at the checked prices. Both models remain below a $200 watch-only budget before additional charges.

Will a Slim Integrated Watch Fit Under Your Shirt Cuff?

Case height is a useful starting point, but cuff clearance also depends on the shape of the case, where the bracelet first bends, wrist size and how closely the cuff is cut. Neither a 7.7mm listing nor an 8.2mm listing can guarantee a comfortable fit under every shirt.

  1. Compare the full footprint. Both watches list 41 × 42.5mm cases and a 45.5mm lug-to-lug span. The 37mm bezel is not the case width.
  2. Check bracelet articulation. An integrated-style connection can extend the effective wearing span beyond what a diameter number suggests.
  3. Plan the initial sizing. Both listings include a half-link. A push-button release describes opening the clasp; it does not by itself establish on-the-fly length adjustment.
  4. Use a watch you already wear as a reference. Compare its height, width and bracelet shape with the published dimensions, ideally while wearing the shirts you use most.

Both standard bracelets are listed as fitting wrists up to about 20.5cm, with additional extension links available by request. That maximum figure does not establish the smallest achievable bracelet size; ask about your required size if it is a concern.

Watch an Outside Review Before Choosing

For another perspective, see Escape Wheel watch Reviews: “Slightly Overhyped, but still impressive [Watchdives WD0013 Review]”. This is a review of the WD0013, not a test of the WD0013B. Its tested configuration and historical pricing may differ from today's listings.

Use the current product pages for the exact movement, dial, bracelet, price and stock. A review of one sample does not establish long-term reliability for every watch.

Which Should You Buy?

  • WD0013 at $149: the two-hand choice for a clean dial and lower initial spend.
  • WD0013B at $185: the central-seconds choice with ETA F06.412 HAQ.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are both watches quartz rather than automatic?

Yes. WD0013 uses Ronda 714 quartz; WD0013B uses ETA F06.412 quartz. Neither requires winding or daily wear to maintain a mechanical power reserve.

Does the WD0013 have a sweeping seconds hand?

No. It has no seconds hand. If a visible central seconds display matters, compare the WD0013B. These are different display choices, not two versions of a VH31 sweeping-seconds watch.

Are they actually 37mm watches?

The 37mm number describes their bezels. Each listing gives a 41 × 42.5mm case and 45.5mm lug-to-lug span; use those dimensions when judging wrist fit.

Which costs less than $200 today?

At the October 23, 2026 check, available WD0013 variants were $149 and available WD0013B variants were $185. Shipping, taxes, duties, optional accessories and later price changes may affect your final total.
