The EXD-40 is available with count-up and countdown bezel configurations. The current production batch ships with the countdown bezel, so bezel style may differ from photos or reviews of earlier batches.

The Watchdives 40mm EXD was created around that idea — combining a lightweight Grade 2 titanium case, an exceptionally slim 10.58mm profile, a fully lumed ceramic bezel and versatile 20mm strap compatibility in one purpose-built everyday watch.

Ultra-Light, Remarkably Slim

At 40.18mm with a 47.95mm lug-to-lug, the EXD has the presence of a modern tool watch without the usual weight or bulk.

The Grade 2 titanium case keeps it remarkably light and comfortable, while the slim profile allows it to sit naturally on the wrist throughout the day.

Fully Lumed Ceramic Bezel

The 60-click bidirectional ceramic bezel features a fully luminous scale, giving the EXD one of its most distinctive visual signatures.

When the lights go down, the bezel comes alive alongside the dial, creating excellent legibility and a striking nighttime presence.

Made to Change

Heavy-duty removable spring bars and a universal 20mm lug width make the EXD a natural strap companion.

Switch between FKM rubber, NATO, canvas, paratrooper and other compatible straps to completely change the character of the watch.

Grab-and-Go Reliability

Powered by the Seiko VH31 sweeping quartz movement, the EXD combines smooth seconds-hand motion with reliable, low-maintenance quartz performance.

A sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and 200m water resistance complete its everyday tool-watch capability.
