Refined Where It Matters

The WD0017 combines a sharply defined angular case with an integrated bracelet, giving it a distinctive wrist presence without sacrificing everyday practicality. Its refined case and bracelet finishing, sapphire crystal, full-lume sapphire bezel and 200m water resistance bring together strong design, solid construction and everyday versatility.

Better Proportions, More Cohesive Finishing

For the latest batch, the bracelet now tapers down to 16mm at the clasp, compared with 18mm previously. The slimmer taper reduces visual weight around the underside of the wrist and creates a more natural flow from the angular case into the bracelet, giving the WD0017 a lighter, more refined profile.

The polished upper and lower edges of the bracelet links have also been changed to a brushed finish. With fewer highly reflective surfaces, the bracelet feels more cohesive with the case and allows its sharp geometry and finishing transitions to stand out more clearly.

Small Details, Better Resolved

The clasp now features a riveted Watchdives logo, adding greater depth and a more premium finishing touch. Dial wording has also been refined from “RESISTANCE” to “RESISTANT” for a cleaner, more accurate final detail.

These changes were shaped by feedback from owners of the first release. Rather than changing the character of the WD0017, we focused on refining the proportions, finishing and small details — keeping what owners already appreciated while making the latest batch feel more balanced and complete on the wrist.
