The Watchdives WD1980 brings the functional character of a classic military field watch into a compact, slim 39mm case.

At 39mm in diameter, 45.5mm lug-to-lug and only 9.6mm thick including the crystal, it sits naturally on the wrist and is well suited to everyday wear.

Clear, Purposeful Design

A matte dial, bold hands and clear markers provide strong legibility, while BGW9 lume keeps the display visible in low-light conditions. The fully lumed aluminum bezel adds a distinctive functional detail.

Slim Quartz Performance

No-date versions use the Seiko Epson VH31 sweeping quartz movement, providing a smooth four-ticks-per-second sweep with quartz accuracy. Day-date versions use the Ronda 517 movement.

A sapphire crystal with AR coating, screw-down crown and versatile 20mm lug width complete the specification.

This watch uses the Seiko Epson VH31 quartz movement on no-date versions. Due to normal tolerance, the seconds hand may not hit every marker perfectly. This is normal and not a defect.
