A watch leaving one collection does not have to mean the end of its story. It may be the piece someone else has been hoping to find: a different dial, an earlier design, or simply a watch they will enjoy wearing every day.
That is the idea behind Watchdives Pre-Owned, our official dedicated pre-owned store at preowned.watchdives.com. We are giving this part of Watchdives a clearer home, with space to explain each watch's condition and help enthusiasts decide what is right for them.

What Is Watchdives Pre-Owned Today?
Today, Watchdives Pre-Owned is a Watchdives-operated retail store, with a dedicated website and support contact for pre-owned purchases. It is part of Watchdives, not an open marketplace where anyone can upload a listing.
The selection can include pre-owned, open-box, display, returned and clearance watches. Depending on availability, you may also find discontinued models or pieces with clearly disclosed repair requirements. These categories are not interchangeable: an open-box watch, a worn watch and a repair-condition watch can offer very different ownership experiences.
Our goal is not to describe everything as like new. It is to help you understand the watch being offered, its known condition and its price. Read more in About Watchdives Pre-Owned.
Why Give Pre-Owned Watches a Dedicated Home?
We want collecting to leave room for discovery. Tastes change, collections evolve and an earlier model can remain interesting long after a new version arrives. A watch does not become less enjoyable simply because it is no longer the latest release.
A dedicated store lets us present those opportunities separately from new products. It also makes an important distinction visible: buying pre-owned means considering the individual piece, not only the model name or specification sheet.
Value matters, but this is about more than a discount. We want worthwhile watches to spend more time on wrists and less time sitting unused.
Start with the Individual Watch
Before ordering, review the whole listing and select the exact variant you are considering. Pay particular attention to these three areas:
- Condition and function: review photographs, scratches or wear, known faults, servicing needs and any special-condition labels. Not every watch is refurbished or sold in the same functional condition.
- What is included: check the bracelet or strap, spare links, packaging and accessories. Ask about fit or missing details before buying.
- Delivery and after-sales terms: confirm the warehouse, supported destination and policies applicable to that purchase.
Original model specifications are not a substitute for a current condition assessment. In particular, do not assume an older water-resistance rating remains valid unless the listing expressly confirms current testing.
Pre-owned items are generally final sale for change of mind or personal preference, subject to applicable statutory rights. Undisclosed material issues are reviewed under the store's Returns, Refunds & After-Sales Policy. The new-watch warranty or return terms on watchdives.com do not automatically apply.
Shipping is item- and destination-specific. U.S., UK and EU warehouse stock serves supported destinations under the relevant regional rules; not every watch can ship worldwide. Review the Shipping Policy and the options shown at checkout.

Our Longer-Term Vision: A Place for Collectors to Connect
Our ambition reaches beyond an official retail store. We hope Watchdives Pre-Owned can gradually grow into a trusted, community-focused marketplace connecting microbrand watch collectors and enthusiasts around the world.
We imagine a place where people can discover interesting pieces, share their enthusiasm for microbrand watches and, eventually, more easily pass on watches they no longer wear to someone who will appreciate them. The goal would be more accessible and transparent collector-to-collector trading, not simply a larger number of listings.
That future should be shaped by what collectors actually need: useful photographs, honest descriptions, clear responsibilities and help when something goes wrong. We want participation to feel approachable without sacrificing the standards that make people comfortable buying and selling.
This is our long-term vision, not a service being launched through this article. Public seller listings and collector-to-collector trading are not open through this announcement. Any future service would be introduced separately, with clear seller requirements, listing standards, payment arrangements and transaction policies. We are not announcing a launch date, fee structure, buyback or consignment program.
For now, our focus is on the foundation: a useful official pre-owned store, clear information and practical customer support, one watch and one customer experience at a time.
Help Shape the Next Chapter
What would make a pre-owned microbrand watch platform genuinely useful to you? Better condition photographs? Clearer information about servicing and accessories? A way to discover earlier models? Tell us what you would value as a buyer or a future seller.
Send your ideas to preowned@watchdives.com. This is an invitation for feedback, not seller registration.
In the meantime, explore the official store, review individual listings and find the watch that fits your next chapter.
Good watches deserve another chapter. We hope you will be part of ours.
