Gold-Tone Watches Under $150: 4 Quartz Options

A gold-tone watch can put the color on a compact case, a matching bracelet or a warmer rose-gold finish. These four quartz options offer different ways to wear that look, from a small-seconds dress watch to a green-dial chronograph.

Each selected configuration was purchasable for less than $150 when checked on October 8, 2026. Prices below are in USD and exclude shipping, taxes, duties and checkout-specific promotions. Follow the exact variant links and recheck before ordering.

WD1954 Gold: a compact case on black leather

The WD1954 pairs its gold-tone case and buckle with a black dial and 20 mm black leather strap. It is a useful starting point if you want the warm finish concentrated around the watch face.

The specification lists a 36.5 mm case, 36 mm bezel and 45.5 mm lug-to-lug length. A sapphire crystal covers the dial, while the VH31 movement provides sweeping central seconds.

WD008: rose-gold tone with an FKM strap

The selected WD008 combines a rose-gold-tone case with a brown dial and brown cut-to-size FKM strap. Its push-button clasp and rubber strap give this option a different character from the leather-strapped WD1954.

The listed 38 mm case is 8.85 mm thick including the sapphire crystal, with a 45.5 mm lug-to-lug length. It also uses VH31 quartz. Check strap sizing before trimming a cut-to-size strap.

Thorn T0001: rose-gold tone with small seconds

The lowest-priced option here moves the running seconds to a small subdial. The pictured Rose Gold configuration combines a light dial, dark numerals and tan strap with a rose-gold-tone case.

Thorn lists a 37 mm case, 44.6 mm lug-to-lug length, 18 mm strap width and domed sapphire crystal. The VD78 is battery-powered quartz; its small-seconds display is not a stopwatch.

WD1863: the matching-bracelet chronograph

Choose the Golden-Limited Edition if you want the gold-tone appearance to extend across both case and bracelet. The green dial and three subdials give it the busiest layout in this comparison, with VK63 chronograph functionality.

Its 39 mm measurement describes the bezel; the mid-case is 41 mm. The listing specifies 46 mm lug-to-lug, 12.9 mm thickness including the bubble sapphire crystal, and a steel screw-link bracelet with a five-hole micro-adjustment clasp.

What does gold-tone mean here?

These listings specify stainless-steel cases. “Gold-tone” describes their appearance, not solid-gold construction. The WD1954 explicitly lists gold-tone plating, and Thorn describes a rose-gold coating. The selected WD008 and WD1863 pages do not establish the coating method or thickness, so no PVD process or coating lifespan is assumed.

Compare the exact finish, band and dial you prefer. Photographs are separate product images, not a common-scale fit test or a guarantee of an exact match to jewelry. For a broader formal-watch shortlist, see our dress watches under $200 guide.
