Overview
It may not look pretty on the surface, but deep down it’s beautiful
In 1970, this watch was launched to withstand the crushing pressures endured by divers working deep below the ocean’s surface. It was the Seamaster Professional 600, the so-called “Ploprof” (from plongeur professionnel – French for “professional diver”). It was among the most robust and seaworthy divers’ wristwatches ever made.
It was discontinued in 1979 but was reissued in 2009 as the 1200 and the SD1969 is Steeldive's tribute to this amazing watch.
